| Here are some pictures I shot while on assignment with Downshift magazine for the American Le Mans series at Infineon Raceway last weekend. It was my first time shooting an auto racing event and it definitely was the highlight of my summer. Thanks to Rob and Laura for giving me the chance to do this, thanks to Norm, Gary, and Tikigod for the photography talk and advice.  Saturday's pictures (Most of the day was practice/qualifying, but there was a Pacific F2000 race at the end of the day with open wheel cars): Wallace or Dyson in the pits (They placed 2nd in LMP1 class, #20 Lola)
 
Sunday's pictures from the Grand Prix race. Frank Biela and Emanuele Pirro's No. 2 Audi R8 won the LMP1 class.
 Clint Field and Liz Halliday's No. 37 Intersport Racing Lola B05/40 won the LMP2 class.
 
Lehto and Werner was hit late in the race and ended up finishing 3rd.
